In this chapter, you will learn how to create and manage your fleet within the DATL system. This crucial first step ensures that all aircraft details are accurately recorded and available for scheduling and operations. Follow the instructions carefully to set up your fleet efficiently.
Adding a New Flight
To add a new flight in the BXI system, you need to configure various fields under the "Settings" -> "Fleet" . Below is an explanation of each field based on their naming:

Access the Fleet Section
In the settings menu, select
Fleet
.
Insert the Following Fields
Field Explanations
Registration: The unique registration identifier for the aircraft. This should be the official registration number assigned to the aircraft.
Info: Additional information about the aircraft. This can include notes or specific details relevant to the flight.
Type: The type or model of the aircraft. This helps in identifying the specific make and capabilities of the aircraft.
Is Active: Indicates whether the aircraft is currently active and available for flights.
AOC Start: The starting date of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) validity period.
AOC End: The ending date of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) validity period.
APU: Indicates whether the aircraft has an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) installed.
Engine Count :number The number of engines the aircraft has.
Showed: A flag to determine if the aircraft is displayed in lists and reports.
AOC: Indicates if the aircraft has a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
CAMO: Indicates if the aircraft is under Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) oversight.
Model: The specific model of the aircraft. This field links to the aircraft type entity.
CRS File: Reference to the Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) file.
Weight: The maximum takeoff weight of the aircraft.
Seat: The total number of passenger seats available on the aircraft.
Manufacturer:The name of the aircraft manufacturer.
Engine Type: The type of engine(s) installed on the aircraft.
Serial Number: The manufacturer's serial number of the aircraft.
Present Registration: The current registration number if it has changed from the original.
Date of Manufacture: The date the aircraft was manufactured.
Seat Cabin: The number of seats available in the cabin area.
Invoice Pattern: The invoicing pattern or code for accounting purposes and fuel recognition.
Enrollment Date: The date the aircraft was enrolled into the fleet.
Disenrollment Date: The date the aircraft was removed from the fleet.
Owner: The owner of the aircraft.
Seat Cockpit: The number of seats available in the cockpit.
Is ICS: Indicates if the aircraft is equipped with In-Flight Communication System (ICS).
Tax Basis: The tax basis airport for the aircraft.
Phonetic Number: The phonetic number associated with the aircraft registration.
PNRGO Export: Indicates if the aircraft is included in PNR (Passenger Name Record) exports.
PPS Message: Indicates if the aircraft is set to receive PPS (Pre-Departure Processing System) messages.
Fuel Unit: The unit of measurement for fuel used by the aircraft.
These fields ensure that all relevant information about the aircraft is captured accurately, facilitating efficient management and operations within the BXI system.
